This email is to advise you that DEST has commissioned a review of
APAC and has invited APAC to make a submission.  Their letter of
advice is available at:

APAC is preparing a submission to the review panel and you might like
to support this submission in the following ways.

We will indicate the research achievements of the users of the
National Facility in a number of ways including reference to the
annual reports that are on the National Facility web site at
http://nf.apac.edu.au/annual_reports/2005/data/usage_tables/repann.MAS.ac_lc_sc.php

Although you may have submitted your reports for 2005, you might like
to revise these statements to include more information on your
achievements as a result of your use of the National Facility.  If so,
please email to reports@nf.apac.edu.au.

We expect the review panel to meet with APAC during the week of 11
September in Canberra and they may make visits to other cities,
probably Sydney and Melbourne.  They will want to meet with some of
you and we may suggest the names of some people to meet.  We will
advise you further of this possibility.

You may also make a submission by writing to DEST as indicated in the
aforementioned DEST letter to APAC.
