ANU Supercomputer Facility Visualisation Laboratory (Vizlab)

The APAC National Facility has access to the services of the ANU Supercomputer Facility visualization and virtual environments laboratory, Vizlab.

The Vizlab is available to visitors to the National Facility. Visitors can also access the joint CSIRO-ANU VE lab which has complementary facilities. These are described in links from the CSIRO IMVS site.

The Vizlab supports a range of graphics and virtual environment platforms and software. The Vizlab also provides digital video mastering facilities to record computer generated animations, and synchronised audio tracks.

The role of the Vizlab is to assist researchers and post-graduate students interpret the data generated by computer simulations, remote sensors and experiments through the application of modern computer graphics techniques.

The Visualization Programmers can provide advice and assistance on all aspects of visualization and using the facilities. They are also available to work closely with researchers to effectively use the technology and software.

Contact if you are planning a visit and require access to any of these facilitites.
